"Why not?"

"Because I don't give a fuck about the garden, and I have better things to do."

"Well, what if the neighbours talk? What if they get the council?"

"Let them talk. If their lives are so empty that they need to talk about someone's garden and judge them for it, that's their problem. And fuck the council, too. They send me a letter, which I ignore, summoning me to a hearing, which I don't go to."

"They can get the police."

"Yeah, the bobbies have nothing better to do than arrest people who don't trim their hedge. I'm not cutting the garden."

"...Don't you want to cut the garden?"

I mean, sometimes I think I've gone to Hell without anyone telling me about it!

I love that. I've met old people that are as thick as shit (and no, it wasn't just the Alzheimers), but htey still think of age as some sort of qualification.

I always wonder what it is that turns perfectly normal people into their parents. It's incredibly disturbing. At what point do they become so delusional that they forget that their parents disapproved of their music, clothes, general habits and anything else in mind, and go on to disapprove of their children in exactly the same fashion?

Can't they be original?

Anybody else see this? Pretty decent horror movie. A step down, I think, for Alexandre Aja (director), who did Haute Tension/Switchblade Romance. THHE is a good flick, but it feels a lot more mainstream than his previous effort. Not as persykololological.

And the gun handling was shite, too....

Just picked up Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and I swear to God, the AI is better than FC:I's. Shocking.

Going on IMDb, and reading a thread, which consists solely of two incredibly stupid people swapping inane comments and pur spelin about a film they are not mentally qualified to understand.

It's hideous. To think that these people are allowed to reproduce...

Although good looking and vaguely interesting, this games has bored me out of my mind. I mean, am I on crack, or are there shooters where the enemy shows more signs of AI than a fucking trilobite?

England flags with 'England' on them. Overdoesd on fucking Budweiser and each other's testosterone, did you? Forget the what the flag of your own country looks like, and need a reminder?

Oh, and DVD cases. I have yet to see one that manages the job without eventually breaking, or breakign the DVD. Wank. Utter wank.

The centre of the disc is cracking and breaking off in flakes, basically. I think it's more to do with the case, and it's shitness, damaging the DVD every time it's taken out and put back in.

Anybody burn DVDs on a regular basis? What brand of DVDRWs do you use? No cheap DVDRs please.

Thanks to my Bubba Ho-Tep disc disintegrating, I've been forced into the sordid world of ripping DVDs.
