Looks like King Kong may have been based on a true story. Elsewhere, some idiot decides computer games make a mockery of human suffering - which seems like all forms of humour also on the planet then? It's hard wired in us to enjoy other peoples misfortune, in a kind of "thank god that wasn't me" kinda way.

Australia looks set to legalise cd ripping and vcr recording, good to see a precedent being set. My favourite part of this article without a doubt has to be;

See, it is currently illegal in Australia to record shows off the telly, or to transferbangle (Australian for copy) music from CDs to portable music players.

Time magazine calls BattleStar Galactica TV Show of The Year. Damned right !!!

A good intelligent article on why cinema takings keep falling where due fault is given;

"consumers are changing their movie-viewing habits because of multiple complaints related to theatergoing: soaring ticket costs, high parking and candy-concession prices, and, perhaps, decreased enjoyment of the movie-house experience because of unruly audiences and a growing number of on-screen ads."

The return of the C: Prompt? Bring it on!
